MaSS graduates pursue careers in a wide array of fields, including market research, management and educational consulting, non-profit research, public policy advocacy, and social justice media development. The MaSS program works closely with distinguished leaders across diverse employment sectors to insure that MaSS graduates are prepared for the most sought-after professional opportunities available in their chosen fields.
The MaSS program offers a series of Professional Development workshops throughout the academic year on topics such as resume-writing, interview skills, networking strategies, and navigating professional platforms like LinkedIn.
Each spring, the MaSS program hosts a series of talks followed by informal conversation with potential employers from diverse industries. These events create a unique forum to learn about employment opportunities, to network with industry leaders, and to discover how to apply the MaSS training in a professional research career.
MaSS students enjoy full access to UCLA’s extensive career services, including individual counseling sessions and invitations to participate in career fairs and networking events.
